Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

Please if you need any dentistry work done call Reno Modern Dentistry. Last weekend I was in the ER with what I thought was an anxiety attack and migraine. Turns out #30 had abscessed. I was given 2 different types of antibiotics and told to call my dentist. My previous dentist told me they wouldn't see me until I finished the 7 day course and antibiotics to have my tooth worked on. Well, they aren't open on the weekend. I woke up this morning wanting to absolutely die from misery. I googled searched and called Reno Modern Dentistry. Bailey answered the phone. This woman is literally is an angel on this earth. She had me come into the office right away. When I got to the office I was greated and taken back for x-rays within minutes of arrival. Turns out I need a root canal. This is where my story gets rough. I just started at a new practice and am between insurance. I'm also going through a divorce and cannot open new lines of credit. My tooth is going to cost roughly $3,500 to fix. Frankly, I don't have that at the moment. The doctor and staff are absolutely beyond caring when when it came to my situation. Bailey came up with a financial payment plan that I can afford, and set me up with the office's own insurance. She sat and listened to my situation without judgement. She was kind, caring, compassionate, and professional. She was even so sweet to give me a much needed hug Today I had my abscess worked on, and a temp crown put on. I go back in a couple weeks for the root canal and then a permanent crown. The Dr (I forgot his name) was amazing. I highly recommend Reno Modern Dentistry. Bailey and the entire staff are beyond amazing.
